Dear international students:
Greetings everyone! Online dormitory reservation for the spring semester of 2025 at the university’s international student residence will soon commence. Below are the detailed instructions:
I.Basic Information
1.Target students
International students enrolled at BFSU
Note: Students who have not checked out of their dormitory during the winter vacation do not need to make an online reservation. However, if these students require a change in room type, they are allowed to make online reservations. Upon successful reservation, they must complete the room change procedures before February 10th at the receptions of the dormitory buildings. Full scholarship recipients enrolling in the autumn semester of 2024 are eligible to reserve all room types except double rooms with shared bathroom.
New international students accepted to BFSU in the Spring semester of 2025
Note: Recipients of full scholarships and exchange students who are exempt from accommodation fees will have their dormitory reserved in advance and are not required to make online reservations (Dormitory accommodations in Building No. 6 International Students’ Apartment at the West Campus are reserved for full scholarship recipient).
2.Introduction to the apartment: The International Student Apartments are located within Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). For detailed information, please refer to the following link:

Please reserve your room as instructed by “Reservation instructions for accommodation in BFSU International Student Service System” (see Attachment 1). Given limited dormitory resources, the reservation is made on a first-come-first-served basis until all available rooms are booked up. If you haven't registered before, please refer to "How to register a new account of BFSU International Student Service System" (see Attachment 2) to register a new account and bind your study information.
4.Reservation time(all in Beijing time): From 9:00 a.m. on February 1st (Saturday), 2025 to 9:00 a.m. on February 5th (Wednesday), 2025, subject to availability.
II.Reservation Procedures
1. Look through room types, rates, vacancies, and other information online.
2. Select the room according to your needs and the number of rooms available, and then submit your application when the reservation system is open.
3. Wait for the review and processing by the relevant staff. When the system displays "Status: Confirmed", it means your reservation for accommodation is completed.
4. You are not required to pay deposit after reservation.
5. After making a successful reservation, it is necessary to complete the check-in process within the designated period (February 19th to February 21st, 2025). Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your reservation. If there are valid reasons preventing you from checking in on time, please inform your academic department of enrollment in advance and provide relevant documentation (See attachment 3 “Contact information of the institutes and Schools”).
III.Relevant requirements
1. When checking in, students must go through the accommodation registration procedures at the front desk and sign the “Letter of Commitment on Accommodation at BFSU” (See attachment 4).
2. During the stay, students must pay the accommodation fee in time and in full amount (pay by semester when checking in), observe the laws and regulations of China and the rules of BFSU, and obey BFSU’s provisions for accommodation management and articles in the Accommodation Agreement.
