First of all, thank you for choosing BFSU and becoming a member of the BFSU family. You may have already learnt from the news report about the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the new coronavirus in China. Currently, Beijing has initiated the First-level Response Mechanism for public health emergencies. Preventing and controlling the spread of the epidemic has become a top priority.

Observing the unified arrangements by China’s Ministry of Education and Beijing municipal government, we have to inform you with regret that we will:

1. Postpone the beginning of the 2020 spring semester. We announce the previous dates of registration specified in the university’s Admission Notice issued before the release of this notice invalid. The specific resumption date will be notified later according to the progress of epidemic prevention and control.

The notification will be posted on our official website and official WeChat account. It will also be sent to the email address you provided when applying to BFSU. Please follow our latest updates.

2. For the health and safety of yourselves and others, please do not arrive at school until further notice. For those who arrive before further notice, we are sorry but BFSU is not responsible for all registration procedures including the extension of visa, and cannot provide on-campus accommodation.
