For general visiting students (students of non-degree programs) who plan to continue to study in BFSU (including general visiting students who will transfer to Bachelor program next semester), please note that the Overseas Students Affairs Office will offer study duration extension service from Dec 4, 2017–Dec 8, 2017 (from Monday to Friday).

Study Duration Extension Process:

1.      Apply for study duration extension at the office of the school. There will be an approval letter from the school which proves that the school accepted the study duration extension application.

2.      Come to the Overseas Students Affairs Office with the approval letter.

Visa Application Process:

There are two ways for students:

1.      Pay the tuition fee for next semester (come to Ms He in the Overseas Students Affairs Office), and go to the outpatient service department in Haidian district of Beijing International Travel Healthcare Center to do a physical examination. Go to student service center of BFSU with physical examination report to apply for residence permit. It will need three weeks to get the visa.

2.      Re-apply in the online application system and pay an application fee. Students will have new Admission Notice and JW202 form. BFSU will send new admission materials and students enter China next semester with new X visa applied from Chinese Embassy.

Please choose one of the two ways and inform the Overseas Students Affairs Office of which one you have chosen.
