International students who are formally enrolled by the Beijing Foreign Studies University may reside in the International Student Apartment on campus by the Letter of Admission and the original passport. Please refer to the Annex for types of accommodation and prices. During the period of enrollment, the Office of International Student Services arranges the accommodation for international students collectively, who may choose the type of accommodation. International students who arrive at the University in advance (within 7 days prior to the date of enrollment) may report directly to the reception of International Student Apartment for check-in, and handle other procedures during the period enrollment. All international students residing on campus shall abide by the “Temporary Regulation of Beijing Foreign Studies University on Accommodation of International Students”.
International students are allowed to live off-campus. Those who live off-campusshall report to local police office and fill in the Registration Form for Temporary Accommodation within 24 hours after they rent the flats.Documents required: passport and lease agreement. Students should report to the Office of International Students for registration of off-campus residence with their Registration Form for Temporary Accommodation, and notify the Office of International Students in time if there are any changes on their addresses. Students who changed their visa should renew their registration in local police officeand update the Registration Form for Temporary Accommodation without delay. Students who live off-campus should keep in close touch with the Office of International Students, and contact their teachers immediately for emergencies.
