China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as CSC), entrusted by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as MOE), is responsible for the enrollment and the administration of Chinese Government Scholarship programs.
Step 1:
Applicants apply to the dispatching authorities or Chinese Embassies/Consulates in their home countries for Chinese Government Scholarship candidate qualification.
Step 2:
Applicants log in to China Scholarship Council (CSC) website at https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login, http://www.campuschina.org, or http://www.csc.edu.cn/laihua, click“Application online”, create an account, sign in and then complete online application.
Step 3:
Applicants log in to BFSU International Students Service System at http://study.bfsu.edu.cn/member/login.do. Register, sign in, click“Online Application”, choose“Chinese Government Scholarship”channel and then complete online application.
Step 4:
CSC sends applicants’application information to BFSU. BFSU conducts a comprehensive review on applicants’academic record, language proficiency, overall merits, research achievements, etc., before final decisions on admission.
Step 5:
BFSU admits those who meet BFSU admission standards and have completed BFSU online application procedures, and then submits their formal admission documents to CSC. CSC will send the admission materials to the Chinese Embassies/Consulates or other scholarship dispatching authorities in their home countries. It is those relevant institutions that will issue the admission materials to the applicants.

1.“Agency Number”and Guide for“Chinese Government Scholarship Information System”can be consulted and obtained from the dispatching authorities of applicants’home countries.
2. CSC does not accept direct applications from individuals. CSC cannot guarantee the placement of target university without pre-admission notice.
