From February 25 to 27, the 2026 Spring Semester International Student Registration was successfully completed. A total of 1,286 students from 100 countries finalized their enrollment, including 365 new students.

To ensure a smooth arrival experience, the Overseas Students Affairs Office worked together with volunteers from the BFSU Student International Communication Association (SICA) to provide airport pick-up services for newly admitted international students during the registration period.

The registration was held at the Service Hall on the first floor of the Student Center on the East Campus and in Classroom No. 12, which served as the number pick-up and waiting area for new students. On-site services included a mobile SIM card registration desk and an information verification counter for the convenience of new students. BFSU adopted a one-stop registration model for international students. The process covered all necessary procedures, including information verification, insurance enrollment, visa processing, accommodation registration, tuition payment, and campus card application. With the streamlined procedures and one-stop services, the efficiency of the process improved and new students were provided with a smoother and more effective enrollment experience.

Schools and faculties such as the School of International Business and the School of Chinese Language and Literature also actively participated in the orientation activities. They offered academic and daily life guidance to help new students adjust more quickly to studying and living at BFSU.

During the registration period, Jia Dezhong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC BFSU Committee, and Zhao Gang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC BFSU Committee and Vice President, personally reviewed the registration process. They welcomed students from around the world and expressed their appreciation to faculty members and student volunteers who contributed to the orientation work.

Looking ahead, the Overseas Students Affairs Office will continue to work closely with relevant university departments and academic units to further optimize procedures and refine services, ensuring higher-quality, more efficient, and more convenient support for international students.
