With the Beijing Winter Olympic Games 2022 coming up, two international students of BFSU, Alina from Germany and Sharon from Kenya, joined the filming of the “My China Surprise” Video Series hosted by China Daily. They paid a visit to Chongli, the key host town for all on-snow sports during the Winter Olympic Games, to personally feel the increasingly intense Olympic atmosphere there.

Through an all-around and immersive experience in the outcomes and highlights of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games in aspects of venue construction, operational services, and the Covid-19 prevention and control, the two students praised that everything in the trip impressed and surprised them so much. Moreover, they were deeply touched by China’s confidence, determination, and practices in fulfilling its commitment and sparing no efforts to make the Winter Olympics a success against a backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic.
