The Lantern Festival is a traditional Chinese festival falling on the 15th day of the first lunar month, where people appreciate lanterns,guess riddles, and eat rice dumplings for celebration. This year, in order toinviteinternational students on campustojoin in on the festivities and experience traditional Chinese culture,a lantern riddle guessing event was held on the afternoon of February 26 by the Overseas Students Affairs Office.More than 50internationalteachers and students took part in the event.

In order to ensure epidemic prevention and control during such an event, our university provided pre-made rice-dumplings for international students to cook for themselves, and decorated the riddle-guessing venue to enable a most authentic Lantern Festival experience. International students were pleasantly surprised and deeply touched by such a thoughtful arrangement.
