Beijing Foreign Studies University is a national key university with a long history, the largest number of languages being taught and a complete level of education among Chinese foreign language colleges and universities. It is also known as the “cradle of PRC diplomats”.
In March, Zizhuyuan Community Subdistrict Office put on 2019 Landing Project list the renovation project of Weigong Street International Fashion & Culture District and the design of Beijing Foreign Studies University Section of Xisanhuan Pedestrian Underpass.
On April 1st, Zizhuyuan Community continued to explore and deepen the “1+1+N” work mode by talking with representatives from Beijing Institute of Architectural Design, Tsinghua University, China Youth College for Political Sciences and foreign experts and foreign students from BFSU, BFSU Infrastructure Department, Youth League Committee, Foreign Expert Office, the Overseas Students Affairs Office and other departments.
The participants had an in-depth discussion about the 2019 responsibility planning project.
Representatives were listening intently to the introduction about the basic situation of the street responsibility planning work.
BFSU foreign students offered advice to explore ways to deepen the "1+1+N" Mode.

Background: On Jan 11th, Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources announcedHaidian District Plan(2017-2035). It indicates that China has entered a new era of urban transformation and upgrading and pursuing high-quality development. With the gradual advancement of responsibility planning work, the “1+1+N” work mode is becoming increasingly clear, and the circle of friends in Zizhuyuan Street is enlarging.
