On the noon of 23 October, the Overseas Students Affairs Office arranged for overseas students to hold an anti-drug pledge-signing campaign, “Purifying the Campus, I Am in Actions”, for the BFSU faculty and students on the West Campus in order to further promote drug prevention education.
Dr Niu Huayong, Dean of International Business School called on all overseas students to purify the campus, stay away from and resist drugs by using no drugs, dealing no drugs, and making no drugs. Teachers and students, attracted by the anti-drug slogan and banner, came forward to learn about anti-drug knowledge. They signed on the banner, and made solemn anti-drug commitments. In addition, the university made anti-drug poster boards, passed out anti-drug brochures to overseas students, and produced anti-drug micro-videos.
Through this campaign, the university actively promoted anti-drug knowledge, helped overseas students establish a sense of staying away from drugs, and improved their ability to identify, prevent and resist drugs.
